This enables effective mechanical, chemical, and biological filtration. As the water exits through the polyester foam layer, it leaves debris trapped inside, ensuring crystal - clear water. Using the Marina i25 internal filter is a breeze. First, place the filter in your aquarium, making sure the bottom - positioned motor is properly settled. Connect it to a power source, and the filter will start working. The waterfall spout will keep oxygenating the water. When it comes to maintenance, check the Power Cartridge regularly. If you notice a decrease in water flow or the water isn't as clear, it's time to replace the cartridge. You can buy the refill Power Cartridges (A134) separately.
