Product Detail

Give your adorable kittens the best start in life with KittenGro, a top - notch milk replacer. Meticulously crafted using high - quality ingredients, it serves as a reliable and consistent nutritional source for newborn kittens. This milk replacer is ideal for supplementing the feed of kittens in large litters. KittenGro is formulated with taurine and arginine, which are crucial for the proper growth and overall health of newborn kittens. It's not just for kittens; it also makes a delicious and nutritious meal topper for adult cats, adding an extra nutritional punch! Features & Benefits: It contains natural bovine colostrum to strengthen the immune system. It's perfect for artificially rearing newborn kittens and allows for supplement feeding of large litters. With a consistent nutritional profile and taurine for growth support, it's a great choice. It's also a tasty and nourishing addition to the meals of growing kittens or adult cats. Made in Canada. HOW TO MIX & FEED: Measure one part milk replacer powder and mix it with two parts hot (60°C) water. You can use a teaspoon, tablespoon, or cup as a measure. The included scoop equals one tablespoon. Mix well for 30 seconds until fully incorporated; don't use a blender. Let the milk replacer cool a bit and feed at body temperature (38°C). Keep the reconstituted milk replacer refrigerated in a clean, sealed container for no more than 24 hours. Re - heat it in a warm water bath; don't boil or microwave. Feed kittens small, frequent meals to reduce the risk of digestive issues and provide continuous energy. Monitor your kitten's weight daily; consult a vet if there's no weight gain. RECOMMENDED KITTEN FEEDING SCHEDULE: Gradually increase the amounts over the week and adjust according to the kitten's size. CARING FOR KITTENS: Wash your hands before handling and feeding kittens. Usually, feed 3 - 4% of the kitten's body weight per feeding, with 8 - 10 feedings a day for the first 3 weeks (e.g., 25% of body weight over 24 hours at birth; the average birth - weight is 120 grams). Frequent small - amount feedings lower the chance of digestive problems. Boil fresh water before reconstituting KittenGro and let it cool. Refrigerate reconstituted KittenGro for up to 24 hours. Feed it at 38°C (use a thermometer). Discard any unused portion after 24 hours. Clean all feeding utensils after each feeding: rinse in lukewarm water, wash with detergent in hot (80ºC) water, rinse with clean water (ideally a 10% bleach solution), and dry with a clean towel. At 4 weeks old, start teaching kittens to drink from a saucer. Begin weaning at 4 weeks by introducing wet solid food. Provide fresh water to kittens starting at 3 weeks old. Keep milk - feeding weak or recovering kittens until their growth rates get back to normal. Available Size: 450 g (15.87 oz)

Hey there! Using KittenGro is super easy. First, when it comes to mixing, take one part of the milk replacer powder and mix it with two parts of hot water (60°C). You can use the included scoop, which is equal to one tablespoon. Just stir well for 30 seconds, but don't use a blender. Let it cool a bit until it reaches body temperature (38°C) before feeding it to your kitten. Remember, once you've mixed it, keep it in a clean, sealed container in the fridge, but don't keep it there for more than 24 hours. If it cools down and you need to re - heat it, use a warm water bath, not the microwave or boiling. For feeding, give your kittens small, frequent meals. This helps prevent digestive problems and gives them a steady energy supply. Keep an eye on their weight every day. If they're not gaining weight, it's time to call the vet. When it comes to caring for your kittens, always wash your hands before handling and feeding them. Feed them 3 - 4% of their body weight per feeding, with 8 - 10 feedings a day for the first 3 weeks. Boil the water you use to mix the replacer and let it cool. Feed the reconstituted milk at 38°C, and use a thermometer to make sure. Throw away any milk that's been sitting for more than 24 hours. After each feeding, clean all the utensils thoroughly. Rinse them in lukewarm water, wash with detergent in hot water, then rinse with clean water and dry with a clean towel. When your kitten is 4 weeks old, start teaching it to drink from a saucer and introduce wet solid food for weaning. And don't forget to give them fresh water starting at 3 weeks old. Keep feeding milk to weak or recovering kittens until they start growing normally.
