Product Detail

The Exo Terra Light Dome is an excellent choice for Exo Terra Terrariums. Its small and compact design fits perfectly on the top screen cover. The well - polished aluminum reflector can double the output of light, UVB, and UVA! The ceramic socket can hold both compact fluorescent bulbs and incandescent bulbs. Key features include a compact size, an extra - deep and polished reflector dome, a 100% increase in UVB output, an On/Off switch, and a 6 - foot (180 cm) power cord. There are two available sizes: the 14 - cm (5.5”) dome is suitable for all types of Exo Terra incandescent bulbs (max. 75W) and compact fluorescent bulbs (max. 26W). The 18 - cm (7”) dome can be paired with Exo Terra incandescent bulbs (max. 150W) and compact fluorescent bulbs (max. 26W). Combine multiple fixtures with specific bulbs to build the perfect lighting system.

Using the Exo Terra Light Dome is easy. First, choose the right size based on your needs - the 14 - cm for lower - wattage setups and the 18 - cm for higher - wattage ones. Place the dome on the top screen cover of your Exo Terra Terrarium. Then, insert either a compact fluorescent bulb or an incandescent bulb into the ceramic socket. You can turn the light on or off using the built - in switch. When it comes to maintenance, make sure to unplug the power cord before cleaning. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the reflector and the outside of the dome. Avoid using abrasive materials that could scratch the polished surface. Also, don't exceed the maximum wattage of the bulbs specified for each size to prevent overheating and damage to the fixture.
